HI I’M SANDRA
I’m Sandra Orrego, founder and creative director of Lucky Elevens.
Chilean by birth, Madrileña by choice. Extrovert, more curious than my cat. Cosmopolitan aesthete. I live between cameras, loved-up couples, toasts, and suitcases.
Weddings are my playground. I work with people who take love very seriously and protocol not so much.
If you’re after sweet photos, classic poses, and catalogue smiles, I might not be the right photographer for you.
If what you want is aesthetics, intention, and a little edge, then we should talk.
I’ve had the chance to photograph couples across half the planet: India, Chile, Greece, London, Portugal, Germany…
And I always come back wanting more. More curious. More obsessed with pushing my creativity one step further.
My Eye
I move between two worlds: the language of fashion and real emotion.
That’s where Lucky Elevens comes from, a space where wedding photography becomes an intentional, aesthetic experience, deeply personal.
My approach is rooted in editorial work: dramatic light, art direction, the ambition of a campaign.
And also in the way I see people and connect with them: raw emotion, the unexpected, that moment when a couple exhales because they think no one’s looking.
For me, photographing is about intensifying the everyday. Playing with reality until it feels bolder, bigger, more WOW.
Lucky Elevens is born from that game: turning an unrepeatable day into a visual piece that breathes style and truth.
How I work
I’m not here to document. I’m here to transform.
I don’t hunt moments. I create them.
I work somewhere between staged photography and documentary.
I’ll place you where the light works, give you prompts, keep you moving. The photos look effortless, but behind them there’s direction, intention, and a slightly obsessive eye for detail.
And then I let go and jump into the chaos.
A friend crying with laughter, someone barefoot on the dance floor, that hug you give when you think nobody’s watching. That’s when I disappear. The energy keeps going. I just turn it into images.
Luxury but fun isn’t a slogan. It’s how I move through a wedding.
A little more about me
Madrid is my base, but my heart lives in a few places too: Barcelona, the Costa Brava, France, Greece, Portugal, the UK and of course Chile.
Travelling to tell a story is, literally, my favourite plan.
I’m inspired by fashion, cinema, European street life, books, art, golden-hour light, the art of drinking good wine and, of course, Madrid. Madrid wins me over and inspires me daily.
I’m the kind of person who laughs loudly, breaks the ice in seconds, and ends up being your ally on the day.
Sometimes, even your friend.

I’m not a high-volume studio. I don’t delegate my eye.
